Hazrat Maryam
"In the Name of Allah the most Compassionate , ever Compassionate"
Hazrat Maryam (peace and blessings of God be upon her)
?What do Muslims think about her
Let's check their opinion together
Hazrat Maryam (peace be upon her) is one of the chosen women and the mother of Jesus (pbuh) whose pregnancy was miraculous. In Surah Maryam, the Qur'an has narrated his life from his own birth to the birth of Jesus (peace be upon him). In Shia and Sunni traditions, Maryam, along with Fatima Zahra (may God's peace be upon her), Khadijah and Asiyah, are introduced as the four top women of heaven
The Qur'an, the book of Muslims, has called Maryam, the mother of Jesus (pbuh), a chaste and chosen lady from among women, and has made her a model for believers. It appears from the verses of the Quran that the angels have spoken to Maryam several times. The only woman whose name is mentioned in the Quran is Maryam. Also, the Quran has attributed the upbringing of Maryam to God
:We read together a verse from the Qur'an about Maryam
Surah Al-Imran, verse 37
"God accepted him well and raised him well... Whenever Zechariah entered his altar, he saw special food there. He asked her: "O Maryam! Where did you get this from?! He said: "This is from God. "Allah gives sustenance to whomsoever He wills without reckoning
In the Qur'an, there is a surah named Maryam (pbuh), which briefly talks about her and the birth of her noble son Jesus (pbuh), this surah is the nineteenth surah of the Qur'an and has 98 verses, which are in verses 16 to 27 and 34. It tells the story of Maryam (PBUH).
Surah Maryam contains many historical stories and narrations about prophets and Maryam
